Thanks for sharing your opinion of the plugin. Syed Balkhi and your team, I just have to say huge, huge Thank you. Your emails, FB answers, and advices are priceless.

Glad we could be helpful. Am I having some sort of hacker issues?? Your site may have had a brute force attack attempted on it. Glad our recommendation could help. Is it still safe to use it? We need to log the user activity and actions somewhere in wordpress. But unfortunatly we do not have best user management in wordpress like drupal. Thanks for choosing to leave a comment.

Do you want to monitor user activity on your WordPress site? We will share two WordPress audit log plugins.

You can also decide the number of items that will appear on the Dashboard and the log page. Once activated, you will see new options under the WP Activity Log menu in the left sidebar. We do not have a recommended way to do that at the moment.

I actually just found that site a few minutes ago. Leave a Reply Cancel reply Thanks for choosing to leave a comment.

Featured In. I had a strange thing happen today while updating plugins and WP core on my site. I had deleted all old plugins and installed All in one WP Security. Everything is up to date and working well. I was also logged in to my cPanel, deleting old files etc. But the 2nd user had the same user name.

However the IP was different, in fact it was the ip of my website. I was able to force the second user to log out immediately and then I logged out myself and cleared the cache and cookies. I asked my host to scan the site for unusual activity and signs of malware but they found nothing. I am grateful for the warning but I am still worried.

So my Question is this. If so, what can I do to stop it happening again? Yes, you can get two logins showing if you login to WordPress and do an action which causes your web-host to login. Check to see if the other IP is from your host. Thanks for replying dag One ip was mine, the public ip.

The other IP was the ip of my website, which is the server my host provides, of course. No-one at my hosting provider was logged in at the time.

I asked them to check my server Afterwards. They did not log in to wordpress at all. I got such a fright to get that message, so when it said I could force the other to log out, I just did it and also logged out myself as fast a possible.

I did not stop to take a screenshot, unfortunately. I have since logged in again to see if there is anything in the log files. There is not. I do not know whether I need to do anything else to secure the website.
