Hi Daz, Don't know if this is any help? Will as it is a computer based exam let you do just the exam, although they don't advertise the fact. It cost 70 quid and compared to a 3 day course with an exam at the end for quid, its a no brainer really.

This was in north Manchester. Hope this helps. Forgot to mention, as you will only be sitting the exam there is no need to be told by the college etc of when you can do it! Originally posted by: darrenscruton Hi all, Been thinkimg of doinng the 17th update course but do not really want to pay for a course or have the time off work. I dealt with a lady called Judith, very helpful with my arrangements, as i said this was for the exam only and cost 70 quid.

I even met the guy who wrote the Part P Doctor, he is a consultant there. Hello Alan, as you said you post on here, you now know who i am, thanks for the chat and chuckle. It is intended to ensure that on completion of this course, individuals are conversant with the format, content and the application of the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 18th Edition Regulations.

This course is entirely classroom based, it introduces wiring regulations and covers their application through explanation and worked examples.

SETA recommend that if you want to keep abreast of the pending changes and confirmed dates for implementation, you take the time to read the BS the 18th Edition report. Please contact Katie Potes for more information — kpotes setatraining.
